The Hope Valley Netball Club was established in 1952 and has a strong tradition of fostering enjoyment in a competitive environment.

We enter teams representing all age groups in the SA Districts Netball Association winter and summer competitions.

We participate in the Netball Australia's netball development program (called NetSetGo) designed to introduce the sport to  budding netballers. This program is run in 2 parts:

>  NetSet - a beginner skills program designed for children under 7 years old.

> Go - once a player is 7 years old they can play competition netball using modified rules, referred to as "Go".

Our philosophy:

  • All players shall be allowed to play netball in our club equally.

  • Our club is based on fairness and integrity and we seek to provide a supportive environment for all members.

  • Our aim is to field both social and competitive teams to suit individual player's goals.

Our goals:

  • Improve facilities to accommodate growth of the club.

  • Create an environment where players, coaches, parents and umpires can enjoy their netball, make new friends and be part of a great community club.

  • Gain Sponsorship.

  • Provide ongoing umpire training to promote Friday/Saturday umpires to Monday/Tuesday level and to improve all umpires' skill levels.

HVNC acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners of the land, the Kaurna people, where HVNC is based. We pay respect to their culture, history and Elders, past, present and future. HVNC is committed to reconciliation, within the netball community and beyond, for all South Australians.
