Hope Valley Netball Club is committed to developing all players of all abilities, in a fun and inclusive environment. As part of this commitment, we are very excited to announce our Skills Development Clinic, which aims to assist develop skills and confidence in Primary players who have registered to play with the HVNC in Winter Season 2023.

 

DETAILS

DATE & TIME:        Sunday, 26 March, 10.00 - 11.30am and Wednesday 29 March 5.30 - 7.00

COST:        Nil (this cost has been included in the club registration fee)

WHO CAN ATTEND?  Players who have registered to play with us in the Primary grade for Winter 2023 season are invited to participate.

AIM:           This development clinic, to be held over 2 sessions, aims to develop skills in the three key areas of Circle Defence, Mid Court and Circle Attack. We encourage players to attend BOTH sessions. When registering you will be asked to advise which sessions you are attending. If availability changes after you have registered please let us know via email to secretary.hopevalleync@gmail.com.

 

Senior coaches and experienced senior players will be on hand to run the sessions, which aim to develop skills in the key areas of:

• movement on court

• positional play

• goal shooting

• attacking and

• defense

 

OUTCOMES:

• Developing the fundamentals at an early age will help each player grow and develop into a confident, resilient player in the long term, with a view to enjoying a long career in a great team sport: netball!

• Technique development in passing, footwork, body placement and positional understanding – including an improved understanding of timing and space in match play.
