WHEN AND WHERE DOES HVNC TRAIN?

Training is on Wednesday nights at the HVNC courts, located at 5a Leeds Ave, Hope Valley.  If there are insufficient available courts for all registered teams in a season, some teams may be asked to train at an alternative venue. Your coach will let you know the training details for your team.

NB. Attendance at training is mandatory for all players. Where a player is not able to train at all during the season due to other commitments the player is not able to play at the Hope Valley Netball Club. This is to ensure that all players are treated fairly, and the coach and team are able to develop together, learn set plays, strategies, drills etc. and build team cohesion.

BASIC SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The basic skills development program, designed for children aged 5 and 6, is run at the Leeds Ave courts, on Wednesday afternoons from 5.45pm to 6.30pm. The program will be run over the Summer season. Registrations will be opening soon. Find out more and register here.

SPORTS VOUCHERS

The Hope Valley Netball Club participates in the Sports Voucher Program, which is a state government initiative to help make organised sport more affordable. The program entitles students (up to and including Year 9), to claim a maximum of $200 per calendar year to cover the cost of participation. You can find out more about the voucher scheme at www.sportsvouchers.sa.gov.au. Claim this on the final payment page in PlayHQ, enter your Medicare card number as the voucher code. See screenshot.

NB: PlayHQ will allow you to claim the voucher even if you have already reached your maximum claim limit, as it does not check the claim up front, it only checks if it is a valid Medicare Card number. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ELIGIBLE BEFORE YOU CLAIM. If you claim and you are not eligible our Treasurer will be in contact and you will need to pay the outstanding amount before we can accept your child's registration. You can check your eligibility here.
